Today marks the 26th anniversary of the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.
The French film-maker was beaten to death outside her holiday home in Schull in west Cork, in 1996.
No one has been charged with the crime in Ireland, but former journalist Ian Bailey was convicted by a criminal court in Paris in May 2019 and sentenced to 25 years.
Mr Bailey says he had no involvement whatsoever in the killing of the French woman:
"Anybody who has meaningful information about this case should is obligated really to go to the guards and to share that information with them. You know, clearly I'm cognizant of the fact that this is the 26th anniversary of this terrible crime which I have nothing to do with.
I'm very sympathetic to the family, the French family."
