Three more city streets have been unveiled as outdoor dining destinations
Union Quay, Caroline Street, and Beasley Street have now joined Prince's Street after being re-modelled to support outdoor hospitality.
It's part of Fáilte Irelands funding of 1.3 million euro to enhance outdoor dining by installing heaters, parasols and other weatherproof dinning facilities
Some of the infrastructure added to the streets have been provided by Cork businesses and tens of thousands of people have availed of the new facilities on Prince's Street alone, so far this year.
Speaking to RedFM news Conrad Howard of Market Lane, outlines the benefits of the outdoor dining works on Beasley St:
"It's been transformative for the street for the city all the streets that have been targeted it means that we can serve outdoors comfortably. It means that people that come to dine in the city can be sure that they're going to have a comfortable environment, safe environment, and it just adds to the allure of the city."
