Over 29,000 homes and businesses nationwide are without power this morning due to Storm Franklin.
There are a number of outages across Cork, the most significant of which is near Boherbue with over 1,000 customers affected, while counties Donegal and Sligo are impacted the most.
It comes as a status yellow wind warning is in place for the whole country this morning until 9am.
An orange wind warning for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo came to an end at 7am.
Mace Head recorded a gust of 139 kilometres an hour yesterday.
