A section of the N25 between Castlemartryr and Midleton is closed after a pedestrian was struck by a car overnight.
Gardaí in Midleton say the pedestrian was taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The road remains closed this morning for a technical examination.
