A man in his 30s been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Cork and is due in court today. Three armed men entered a home in the Lagan Grove area of Mayfield in the early hours of yesterday morning, before fleeing.

An electric helicopter, which designers say should replace cars and taxis, has made its first untethered flight. FlyNow Aviation will now progress to tests on a cargo model of the aircraft, which will eventually seat two people per flight.
