A 63 year old man who attacked his sleeping wife with boiling water and a claw hammer in Cork will be sentenced on November 26th. Noel Twomey from Carbery Grove in Knocknaheeny pleaded guilty to two counts of assault causing harm following the January attack on his wife of forty years, Jackie Twomey.
