7,376 students will sit the Leaving Cert and Leaving Cert Applied in Cork, with 8,376 students doing the Junior Cert exam in the city and county.

The National Treatment Purchase Fund has suspended funding for 'insourcing arrangements' at Children's Health Ireland.
