A member of the defence forces has pleaded guilty to possessing €27,000 worth of cocaine for sale and supply at Collins Barracks. Shane Scanlon of Cooline Heights, Ballyvoloon, Cobh admitted using his army room as a “safe haven” to store drugs, with evidence of dealing dating back to 2021.
