A motorcyclist in his 20's has died following a collision with a car in Bandon yesterday. His body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place in the coming days. It brings to 12 the number of people killed on Cork roads so far this year.

and finally The M20 Cork to Limerick road looks set to be tolled. The Irish Examiner reports a motorway with barrier free distance based tolling has been recommended to link the two cities as part of the 1 billion euro project.
