Tributes are being paid to two young agriculture students, killed in a horror crash in County Limerick on Tuesday night. 20-year-old Darragh Dullea from Clonakilty and Cillian Kirwan from County Killkenny, aged 19, were both passengers in a car that hit a wall on the N69 near Askeaton.

The amount of funding allocated to storm damaged roads across Cork county has been slammed. Damage to roads and bridges in East Cork caused by Storm Babet stands at an estimated 50 million euro but just 13 million euro has been granted to carry out repairs.
