The Grumpy Bakers first opened in Midleton in East Cork, but have now opened a second premises right in the heart of the city.
The Midleton bakery was set up by Cathal O'Mahony and Sharon Gleeson, who set out with a dream of creating a community style bakery brimming with sourdough bread and pastries, freshly baked on site every morning.
Even despite the struggles of the Covid-19 pandemic the bakery was a huge success, so much so they have taken to the city.
The city centre premises will open 7:30am to 3pm Wednesday to Friday, 8:30am to 3pm on Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sundays.
The Midleton premises will continue to open 8am to 3pm Wednesday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
