A teenager has died in a crash on the Bandon road this morning.
The collision between a car and a truck happened on the N71 between Ballinhassig and Innishannon at 7.15am.
The driver of the car, described by gardai as a man in his late teens, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed for a technical exam, and local diversions are in place.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
