The Taoiseach's Cork office has been vandalised overnight with personal threats also being made.

The window of Micheál Martin's office in Turner’s Cross was daubed with the words “Zionist pawn” in red paint.

A spokesperson for the Taoiseach confirmed this is the third such attack on the office on the southside of Cork city.

Personal threats have also previously been sent to the office, warning the Taoiseach it will be made impossible for him to navigate in public spaces.

The spokesperson added those responsible for the “criminal acts” and “intimidatory and abusive threats are fundamentally anti-democratic.”
