The Taoiseach says he’s confident that BAM can deliver the M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy motorway on time.
The contract for the 206 million euro project has been signed with the construction firm which has come under scrutiny over delays with the National Children's Hospital as well as the Cork Events Centre.
Speaking to RedFM News, Taoiseach Micheál Martin anticipates the long awaited M28 will be delivered on time:
"There are issues with the Children's Hospital, that have been ongoing, and are unacceptable. BAM have come in on time on other road projects and other civil engineering contracts that is the position and I would anticipate that they will come in on time in terms of the M28 - it's been a long time coming and is a very, very important project"
