Storm Bram has been named by Met Éireann and will bring very strong winds to Cork tomorrow.
Status Orange warnings for wind have been issued for 11 counties along the coast tomorrow at 10am, while a 12 hour Yellow rain warning will take effect from 9pm tonight.
The storm's expected to bring flooding in low lying areas, especially at high tide, wave overtopping and difficult travelling conditions.
Both the city and county council are appealing to road users to allow for extra travel time and keep up to date on their social media channels.
