Cork City’s coroner says hospitals in the city and county have had to store the bodies of some people who died over the past two months overnight due to a lack of space at the City Morgue.
Coroner Philip Comyn told the Irish Examiner that staff at the morgue at Cork University Hospital have been working longer hours and weekends to help ease the pressure.
