Spot flooding is being reported right across the city and county as Cork remains under a yellow alert for rain until 2pm
Rutland Street/South Terrace is flooded, the Straight Road is also experiencing spot flooding and the Lee Road has been closed along with Healy's Bridge into Cloghroe
Elsewhere there are reports of flooding between Rivestick and Fivemilebridge with a large flood just ahead of the turnoff to Atlantic Flight training school near the Airport
Flooding also reported on Rathanker Road, between Rochestown and Monkstown.
Bandon Gardai say the main road outside the town at Billy's Restaurant on the Cork side of Bandon is starting to flood along with Kilbrittain Road and Distillery Road in the town
Flooding reported on the Quarry Road in Youghal and spot flooding in Bantry, Skibbereen and Clonakilty
Ardcahan Bridge between Dunmanway and Copeen is also closed due to flooding.
