Sinn Fein is accusing the Government of stirring up confusion over its rent control plans.
The Opposition party says the plans are a shambles and will push up rents.
The regulations will means the entire country is a Rent Pressure Zone, while landlords can reset rents every six years in new tenancies.
Speaking in the Dail, Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald says the plans are all over the place:
"The only person who has managed to sow confusion is yourself Taoiseach, ably assisted by Minister Brown, you certainly sow confusion. I'm very glad you were listening so attentively to me this morning, I hope you heard my appeal again to to stop screwing things up"
