West Cork has been bearing the brunt of the wet weather as Storm Amy makes landfall.
109 millimetres of rain was recorded at Glengarriff Weather Station yesterday while rivers in Ballydehob and Castledonovan burst their banks.
The road at Borlin Valley between Bantry and Kilgarvan has been badly damaged as a result of severe flooding.
"Speaking to RedFM News, Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says yesterdays rainfall was the worst seen since Storm Babet in 2023:
