School secretaries and caretakers say they’re prepared to take long term escalated strike action.
Over 100 Forsa members are protesting outside Taoiseach Micheál Martins office in Turners Cross this morning in a row over pensions and other entitlements.
Secretary of Beaumount Girls National School Paula Harrington told RedFM news they’re not returning to work without the same benefits as teachers and SNA’s:
"The reason we're in it for the long run is because we know the Government hasn't got a leg to stand on, they're kicking the can down the road. But we're not allowing them to this time, give us a reason as to why we can't have it, we know they can't, or else just get a move on here, get it done, we're not going back until we sort this out."
