Diversions are in place in West Cork this morning on a section of the R586 following a road traffic collision last night.
One person has been taken to Cork University Hospital following the single vehicle collision between Bandon and Inniskeane.
The incident occurred just after midnight between Baxter's Bridge and Murragh.
A forensic collision investigation has been launched and Bandon Gardaí say the road will be closed this morning to facilitate that operation, and are also advising motorists to avoid the area.
