Republic of Work has benefited from significant investment from Cork-based entrepreneurs Dan and Linda Kiely, who have worked on developing the business with one of its original founders.

The newly renovated hub on the South Mall has seen a 200% increase in enquiries about its flexible workspaces over the last year as companies explore new options for their development and employees.

An extensive renovation project has been completed and it is now home to more than 80 companies and several of the start-ups based there are set to double in size over the next year.

Speaking to RedFM News General Manager at Republic of Work, Frank Brennan says there is a demand for a new culture of workspace.

"We've put ourselves out there as a home whereby you could land back in Republic of Work for a day or two a week.

"Not necessarily making that commute back to the office, but actually just coming into a space where you can mix and collaborate with other types of people."
