Now in it's second year, Challenge 21 is asking people to walk, run or jog 21 kilometres from Haulbowline to Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday June 18th.
The route follows the proposed Greenway from Cork Harbour, through Shanbally, Monkstown, Passage, Rochestown and Blackrock.
The event is sponsored by Green Rebel Marine and all funds raised will go to supporting services for children with Down Syndrome in Cork.
The Down Syndrome Centre Cork was established in 2017 by a group of parents and offers support around diagnosis and early intervention.
Around 150 children are enrolled in the service, which has seen a significant increase in demand in recent years.
Anyone who registers before the 30th of April will be entered into a draw for a weekend away for two at a four-star hotel, courtesy of Cork's RedFM.
