A proposed Dog Park in Ballincollig Regional Park has had to be kicked down the road - due to funding problems.

The enclosed area would allow dogs to exercise off-lead, under the supervision of their walker.

According to today's Echo, councillors were told that the infrastructure required to enclose the dog park, and segregate large and small dogs, would cost approximately 95,000 euro, but

that, so far, the Parks and Recreation Capital Programme didn't have the funding to develop the facility this or next year.
