Gardaí investigating the discovery of a man’s body in Skibbereen on Sunday say the results of a post mortem examination will determine the course of their investigation.
The body of the man in his 40s was found on a path at Castletownshend Road on Sunday afternoon.
The body was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place in due course.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
