The Irish Examiner reports that the Heritage body has lodged an appeal to An Bord Pleanala in relation to the seven story mixed use development, which would include a mix of offices and retail.

In its submission, An Taisce said the building required significant revision to its design, and said a reduction in height was needed to help it integrate better into what it called its historic city centre location.

A decision by an Bord Pleanala is expected by May.
