A pensioner, originally from Douglas, is facing time in jail after being arrested in the West Bank.
70 year old activist, Máire Ní Mhurchú who lives in Swansea in Wales was arrested on Saturday and is fighting a deportation order by Israeli authorities.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's aware of the case and providing consular assistance.
