Digital home fitness firm Peloton is reported to be examining office space in Cork as they look to expand their European operations.
The company could potentially create 700 new jobs if they decide to locate in the city as they seek proposals for up to 70,000sq ft of office space in the city.
Peloton currently offers customer support through specialist firm Voxpro which has its headquarters in Mahon.
Peloton offers monthly subscribers access to fitness classes via the internet which they can do from home on their stationary bicycle.
The company do not currently ship to Ireland with their products only available to order in the US, UK, Germany and Canada.
