Patrick Street has reopened after an earlier incident where a woman was taken to hospital.
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near the Dunnes Stores and Penney's junction at around 1.15PM.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said emergency services arrived at the scene and a woman in her 60's was taken to CUH to be treated for injuries.
The road was closed for a period but has since reopened.
Elsewhere there's been a collision on the N25 Westbound between Little Island and the Dunkettle roundabout.
Emergency services are at the scene.
