Passengers travelling through Cork Airport over the weekend are being reminded about the clocks going back on Sunday

Over 53,000 passengers are expected to pass through the airport over the bank holiday weekend up 23% on the same period last year

The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival which is now in it's 45th year, always draws thousands of international visitors to Cork

Cork Airport's Barry Holland told RedFM News that passengers should factor in clock changes on Sunday as daylight saving time draws to a close

"Our advice to passengers this weekend is, obviously, in amongst enjoying the jazz music that will be taking place within the terminal, is to arrive 90 minutes before their flight. Also for passengers travelling on Sunday to be cognisant of the clock changes as daylight savings time comes to an end, and the clocks, fall back an hour."
