Kanturk has been dealt a blow with the news North Cork Creameries is to cease processing milk.
The move is expected to impact up to 100 workers at the site.
Speaking to RedFM News North Cork TD John Paul O'Shea is urging impacted workers to avail of the State's support services:
"Employees are adviced to contact their local intro office for support and advice, where there's a range of support available on training and development options."
