Gardaí in the city say there were no reports of any major incidents for Halloween night.
They were however a large number of calls reporting fireworks, bonfires and bangers.
Earlier in the evening, there were reports of gangs of youths aiming fireworks at cars near Fairfield in the Farranree area.
Eggs were also reportedly thrown at vehicles in the Glen and near Innishmore in Ballincollig.
Crews from Cork city fire brigade meanwhile dealt with several incidents including some bonfires.
