A new service provider has been found for the Stepping Stones childcare facility in Farranree.
The Echo report that Childhood Matters have confirmed that their application to operate the facility has been successful.
Parents were told last month that the preschool would not be reopening, due to issues with funding and maintaining a board of management.
Childhood matters say they are hoping to reopen by mid-September.
