New ferry service announced for Cork city and harbour

A new ferry service has been announced for Cork city and harbour.

The €80m passenger service will be the first of its kind and will run from Crosshaven to the city centre.

CEO of Harbour Link, Aidan Coffee told the Neil Prendeville show the service will stop at 17 locations in Cork:

" We've identified locations across the Harbour at City Quay, Kennedy Quay and SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Marina Quay, Tivoli, Blackrock Pier, Blackrock Castle and Observatory, Little Island, Passage West, Carrigaloe, Monkstown, Ringaskiddy, Paddy’s Point, Spike Island, Cobh Five Foot Way, Lynch’s Quay Terminal, Lower Aghada and Crosshaven."
