Nearly 1600 Ukrainian children are enrolled in primary and secondary schools across Cork
Nationally over 15,000 children fleeing the Ukrainian war are enrolled in Irish schools
Data shows 90 per cent of 5 to 18 year olds who have come here fleeing war in the past 14 months have been enrolled.
Almost 10,000 are attending primary schools.
The largest number are in Dublin, where over 1,800 children are enrolled across primary and secondary, followed then by Cork and Kerry.
The lowest is in Monaghan, with just over 100 students.
