Motorcyclist Rushed To Cork University Hospital In Serious Condition Following Road Accident In North Cork

A motorcyclist was rushed to Cork University Hospital in serious condition following a road accident in North Cork.

The incident occurred at Nohoval Upper in Knocknagree at approximately half past six yesterday evening.

Adrian Kennedy has more for RedFM News:

"The driver of the motorbike, a man in his 20s, is in serious condition following the single vehicle incident.

No other injuries were reported.

The R582 is closed between Rathmore and Knocknagree to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examine the scene.

Diversions are expected to be in place for several hours.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They are particularly appealing to any road users who were travelling on this road at the time with camera footage to make this available to them.
