Motorcyclist in his 20's dies in crash in White's Cross

A motorcyclist in his 20's has died following a road crash in White's Cross yesterday evening.

Gardaí were called to the scene of a collision between a motorbike and a van at Ballinahina shortly before 6pm.

The man in his 20's was pronounced dead at the scene with no other injuries reported.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

It's the second motorcyclist that's been killed in a road crash on Cork roads since Sunday.

60 year old Niall Murphy died in a single vehicle crash in Banteer on Sunday evening.

The latest fatality brings to 9 the number of people killed on Cork roads so far this year.
