The mother of a Cork man who drowned in the River Lee at the end of April is leading a campaign for the filming of tragic events to be outlawed.
"Luke's Law" was raised in the Dail after the death of father of one Luke Hyde who died after he got into difficulty while swimming across the river at Pope’s Quay.
His friend KellyAnn Peyton is supporting his mother in her campaign and she told the Neil Prendeville Show they're determined to see "Luke's Law" realised:
"Unfortunately, today's society, this is what we are living with and these laws have to be put in place. There is going to be a long road. There is going to be a lot of work there to do. We won't give up very easily."
