More than 40,000 euro has been raised in just three days - for the family of a man who died during a football match in Cork on St Stephen’s Day.

45-year-old Jamie Wool from Tivoli was known as the “singing electrician" when he died during charity football game at Mayfield United.

The organisers of a Go Fund me page, set up for his loved ones, say that they are thrilled with the “amazing response so far.”
