The deadline for home-owners to file their local property tax return is just hours away.
Updated property valuations need to submitted to Revenue by midnight - with homeowners urged not to leave it to the last minute.
The valuations will determine how much LPT each household will have to pay between 2026 and 2030.
Katie Clair, Head of the Local Property Tax Branch at Revenue, says households could be hit with a higher bill if they miss the deadline
"We have made an estimate of the valuation band of each of the two point two million properties in the State, and in the instance that an LPT return is not filed, the LPT charge will be determined with reference to that estimated valuation, and that amount will become payable"
