Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for rain for Cork.
Clare, Kerry, Limerick, and Galway will also come under the alert from 6pm tomorrow evening.
The warning will be in place until 3am on Wednesday morning.
The forecaster says heavy spells of blustery rain may cause difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility and localised flooding.
