The man who died in a house fire in Douglas has been named locally.
57 year-old Conor Downey died after a fire broke out in his home in Douglas West yesterday afternoon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation into the blaze is continuing though his death is not believed to be suspicious.
It's understood Conor Downey had been living in Douglas for over 10 years.
A post mortem is due to be conducted later today after his body was removed to Cork University Hospital.
