A man aged in his 30s is to appear in court charged in connection with a cannabis seizure in Cork city.
The drugs worth around 300 thousand euro were seized when Gardaí stopped and searched a man on Grattan street on Thursday evening.
He was found to be in possession of cannabis herb with a street value of around 6,000 euro. A search was later conducted at a residence in Sunday's Well where an additional 15 kilos of the drug were found.
The man is due before a special sitting of Cork District Court this morning.
