A man in his 40’s has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Ukrainian man in the city.
A 31-year-old man died from a stabbing incident in the Lower John Street/Knapps Square area of the city at around 7.50pm on Monday evening.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 40's in relation to the investigation this morning and he is being held at a Garda station in the city.
