A man is due to appear in court this morning to be charged in connection with the murder of a 51 year old Englishman at his home in West Cork almost five years ago.
The 42 year old man was arrested in Co Tipperary and is due before court this morning charged in connection with the murder of John Ustic.
Mr Ustic was found dead with injuries as a result of an assault in his rented house in High Street in Skibbereen on September 25th 2017 and Gardai began an investigation.
A post-mortem by then State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy confirmed that Mr Ustic died as a result of injuries sustained in the assault and Gardai upgraded their inquiry to a murder investigation.
