A man in his 30s was killed in a road accident in Millstreet this evening.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A car and a truck were involved in fatal collision, which happened on the Drishane Road outside Millstreet, at around 5 o'clock this evening.
A man in his 30s was the sole occupant of the car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators closed the road to conduct a technical examination.
Diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was travelling in the area between 4:30pm and 5:15pm to come forward - including anyone with camera or dash-cam footage.
