LauraLynn Children's Hospice expect demand to grow following opening of their Mallow hub

LauraLynn Children's Hospice are starting what will be their first full calendar year at their new Mallow hub and say they expect demand for the service to grow into 2023.

The group provides support for children with life-limiting conditions in Cork and Kerry and have seen a 100% increase in demand since opening the satellite service at the Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre in May.

The charity currently carries out around 100 home visits to 38 families a month in Cork and Kerry, which has decreased the need for many families with sick children to travel to Dublin to access services.
