Irish Water issue warning of outage in Cork due to works

Irish Water have issued a warning to customers in Green Park, Riverview Estate, Summerstown Avenue, Summerstown Drice, Summerstown Road, Wilton Court, Wilton Lawn and surrounding areas that there may be disruption to their water supply from 8pm until midnight this Thursday.

In addition, customers on the South Douglas Road, Greenhills Estate and Court, Berkeley Court, Ashdene, Alderwood, Spring Road, Moss Lane, Ivy Crescent, Mount Vernon Crescent, Glencurrig, Willow Park, Hillgrove Lawn, Trabeg Lawn and surrounding areas could be affected due to connection works from 6pm to 10pm on Thursday.

The improvement and connection works could cause reduced water pressure or possible water outages. Following the completion, supply may take two to three hours to return as the network is refilled.

Irish Water has apologised for any inconvenience caused and will ensure crews minimise any disruption caused.
