Irish Water and the County Council are working to restore water to two North Cork towns after two separate watermains burst today.

Approximately 1000 Irish Water customers on the northside of Mallow Town are without their water supply due to a burst line in Castlelands.

Water crews say the repairs are complex due to the location of the dig.

Further updates will be issued as repair works progress.
