Gardaí have upgraded the inquiry into the disappearance of a little boy in north Dublin, to a homicide investigation.
They're again appealing for information about Daniel Aruebose, who would have turned 8 today.
This development comes after the human remains of a child were recovered on open ground in Donabate in September.
DNA analysis has since confirmed the remains to be those of the little boy, who was last seen alive at his home at the Gallery apartments 4 years ago, when he was just 3.
Concern was only raised when officials from the Department of Social Protection made checks on a social welfare payment, prompting an investigation.
Gardaí have launched a fresh appeal for information and are appealing to the public to verify any information they encounter on social media or messaging apps about the case, before sharing it.
